Description:

An intensive and demanding course. The Advanced Tactical Pistol course will build on the Tactical Pistol Course.  

Learning Objectives:

• Build on skills learned from TP
• Multiple target transitions
• Introduce steel targets
• Moving in and out of shooting positions
• Introduce strong and weak hand shooting

 Prerequisite:

Must have attended a previous Old Cypress Farm training course and demonstrated confidence and aptitude in the safe handing of a pistol both in firing and handling in and out of a holster.

Requirements:

• Handgun, semiautomatic
• Holster
• Magazine with pouch
• Eye and ear protection
• Minimum 300 rounds ammunition

Students will be required to pass the Advanced Tactical Pistol Skill Assessment (ATPSA), a 15 round shooting examination, in order to receive a certificate.
